About 101 Training
This one-day in-person workshop is aimed at staff who are new to the sector, with less than one year’s experience of working for a university International Office. It is designed to give you an understanding of the external and internal environment of international student recruitment, including:
The changing nature of competition, key market trends and the impact of government policy on international student recruitment;
Working effectively across your institution and ways to make a difference;
Developing marketing, recruitment, and conversion strategies;
Building successful relationships with agents, partners and other key stakeholders;
Travel planning and safety; tips and advice.
The workshop will be delivered by a team of practitioners and external experts. It is also an opportunity to broaden your own professional network by meeting with your peers and sharing best practice. There are no restrictions on number of participants from the same institution for this training.

The standalone price for the 101 training is £180. If you are attending the 2-Day Complete Conference as well, the fee for the 101 training is waived!
